An Inspirational story...!!

This is a story, I came across recently, and found it to be interesting, maybe it'll interest you people too...

One day I decided to quit. I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality. I wanted to quit my life. So I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.

"God, can you give me one good reason not to quit.

His answer surprised me.

"Look around. Do you see the fern and the bamboo"

"Yes" I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seed, I took very good care of them. I gave them light, I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. It's brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed but I would not quit.

In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit.

Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just six months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."

He asked me, "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others. The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful. Your time will come. You will rise high.

"How high should I rise?" I asked.

"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return."

"As high as it can? I questioned.

"Yes. Give me glory by rising as high as you can."

I left the forest and brought back this story. I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. Never, never , never give up.

Prayer is not an option but an opportunity.

Racial Discrimination

It is so very shameful to realize that even after so many decades we are still affected be the social evil called RACISM. How does it matter if a person is white, black, brown, yellow, or whatever? If we intend to talk about success in personal/ business/ social domains, it's very important that we distance ourselves from such discriminations and move closer to eradicate them.

In one way or the other, it is going to hamper the pace of our progress. And another question...what are we supposed to get out of it? And does any human being have control over its choice of race, ethnicity, geographical location of birth, gender? No, so how can it ( the human in question) have the right to proclaim itself as being superior to another human, whose potential is of the same caliber ( if not more) than the self-proclaimed superior human.

There is a dire need for such initiatives in order to educate people about how this menace (racial discrimination) is hampering the social architecture of the world. One more question comes to my mind... We all have non-identical faces, no two people have the same face even if they belong to the same race, this fact doesn’t trouble us or does it?

Then how does the diversity of races affect us to such an extent?

In my opinion, these are notions, which have been engraved deeply in the social structure, and are further strengthened by the self- proclaimed superior race. In fact, since the self-proclaimed superior race doesn't have anything worthwhile to it's credit that can declare/ or support it's superiority, so it is leveraging on the argument that the color of the skin can be a deciding factor for differentiating among the superior and the inferior.

There is an immediate and dire need to empower the less privileged from the grass-root level. And the racial discrimination has definitely made the discriminated - less privileged. This calls for some damage control. Let's do it.

The Escalation

If we've got an issue,
in our hearts,
that has to be escalated,
to our mind,

If our heart could not deal with it,
and the soul was not satisfied,
the mind would have to take the lead,
even if it feels petrified,

Let’s ensure the mind is competent,
and it has the expertise,
to provide a satisfactory solution,
acceptable to our soul,

No more escalations are possible,
there is no next level,
if it begins here,
and here must it end,

The mind is the highest level,
of the escalation matrix,
the heart can be involved,
the issue must end, amicably.

Dilema

Dilema

As I stand here and as far as I see,
there's nobody, nobody but me,
there's not one human in my sight,
and the darkness is growing, is this night,

My mind wanders in the dark,
what's happened to my spark,
life is bleak, and it's not bright,
there's none to laugh at my plight,

I’ve reached here,
now where do I go,
there's already enough blood,
flowing from my brow,

What would happen to me,
have I cried,
but hey, that's doesn’t matter,
my eyes have dried,

Is this a challenge
that I must accept
let me create my checklist
let me introspect

I’ll overcome
would do it sure
I realized I’m strong
and I’ll endure.

Friendship

Friendship

We are rebels,
we do not follow trends,
but does that mean,
we do not have friends,

Friends are forever,
that is what we believe,
even if they are angry,
they never will deceive,

We choose our friends,
with utmost care,
u can achieve anything,
if even once they dare,

Do not under estimate,
friendship is not cheap,
if somebody doesn’t have friends,
then, buddy he's a creep,

Though there are a lot of friends,
that I’ve got,
friendship my dear,
cannot be traded or bought,

Friends help u in any way,
as and when they can,
and they’d even write a scrap,
when on orkut, there is a ban.
